Q. What does CoreDesign do?
A. Core Design is a leading manufacturer of foam and prebased EPS architectural shapes.

Q. What is the prebase made out of?
A. The prebase material is a fiberglass mesh imbedded in a coating of specialized cement that has been modified by various polymers.

Q. What kind of foam does Core Design use?
A. Unless specified, the foam used to manufacture all shapes is:

    1)  1 lb. density, properly cured, Expanded Polystyrene
    2)  Virgin with no regrind present

    2 lb. density foam is available upon request.

Q. Can prebased shapes be based with Dryvit, Sto, Senergy, or other basecoat? 
A. Yes. We can use the basecoat of your choice. 


Q. Do you have a list of customers you have provided shapes to?
A. References can be provided upon request.

Q. Do you have a catalog?
A. Yes. A copy of the catalog can be found on this website.  If you prefer a hard copy, we would be happy to send one to you.


Q. Can I get samples of your product?
A. Yes. We have a standard sample package we can send to you.

Q. What are the size limitations for foam-only and prebased shapes?
A. Most linear shapes are produced in 8 foot lengths unless otherwise specified. We would be happy to review any specific projects you have.

Q. What is your normal lead time on orders?
A. For foam-only orders, typically orders will ship no later than three business days from the date the order is confirmed by the customer.

For prebase orders, typically orders will ship no later than eight business days from the date of order confirmation.

Typical transit time is one to three days.

Q. Can I get the product sooner than the typical lead time?
A. Depending on the production schedule, we can occasionally expedite orders. We would need to call you back and give you our best estimate on when your order can be completed.

     3. We have quick quote turnaround to meet your deadlines.

Q. How will my order be delivered?
A. CoreDesign uses a number of national and regional freight carriers. We will obtain several quotes and ship it via the most dependable, economical carrier.

Q. Can my order be shipped to the jobsite?
A. Jobsite delivery is available.  However, a responsible party must be present on the scheduled delivery date in order to coordinate unloading of the order.

Q. Is there an additional charge for freight costs?
A. Depending on your location, freight charges may apply.  Contact customer service for additional information.

Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. An account can be established with CoreDesign.  We also accept Mastercard, VISA and Discover. 

 

Q.  How do I set up an account?
A. To set up an account, contact customer service at (417) 832-9308 or email us at sales@coredesignshapes.com to request a credit application.

 

Q. What do I do if my order arrives damaged?
A. Our main concern is to determine how much of your order needs to be replaced. Once we determine that, we will generate a replacement order and ship it to you immediately

Our general manager will follow up with your damage claim to determine if any of the order needs to be returned to CoreDesign, whether we need to initiate a freight claim against the carrier, and the total amount of credit due to you.

Q. Can I return shapes for a refund?
A. Unfortunately since the shapes are manufactured to your specifications, we cannot accept returns.

Q. Can I return standard trim and starter board for a refund?
A. A credit will be issued for standard trim and starter board that is returned in resellable condition.
